ABOUT MICHAEL

Michael is a young Canberran who lives in Crace and is the Labor representative for the electorate of Yerrabi. He grew up in Canberra, going to school at Campbell High and Dickson College. Michael then went on to complete a Bachelor of Arts at the Australian National University, where he studied political science and mathematics.

Prior to being elected to the Legislative Assembly, Michael worked as an Industrial Officer for the Construction and General Division of the CFMEU. In this role, Michael helped local construction workers who had been underpaid by their employer. Prior to working for the CFMEU, Michael was an elected official of the National Union Students, where he advocated for the welfare of students across Australia.

When he’s not working, Michael loves to keep active. He plays touch football with friends and also enjoys playing tennis. His favourite TV show is Survivor.
